The 2007-2008 Season Theme 'Transformers: Learning to Shift Gears' continues with a workshop from Root Learning that helps translate strategy from the board room to the organization. Gary Magenta will facilitate the development of learning maps to help us explore how we can play a meaningful role in strategic engagement.

Gary Magenta is the Vice President of Client Solutions for Root Learning Inc., the premier strategic learning services house delivering innovative solutions to Global 2000 companies.

As a member of Root Learning’s leadership team, Gary has guided the creation and innovation of cutting-edge learning solutions while working collaboratively with organizations on the forefront of employee engagement. Gary has successfully partnered with CEOs, heads of operation, human resources executives, and learning/training/ development leaders throughout North America and Europe with a focus on practical results. His clients include Blockbuster Entertainment, PetSmart, McDonald’s Corporation, Brinker International, Hilton Hotels, and InterContinental Hotels Group.

Gary possesses almost 25 years of Retail and Hospitality experience and a degree in Hospitality from Johnson and Wales University as well as a Blue Ribbon in Culinary Arts. Whatever the challenge, Gary provides clients with practical views, an astute perspective on strategic planning, and durable “street sense” when it comes engaging employees to create results.
